Notes
This show featured the debut of both Grow Wings and Fly and Treaty (Yothu Yindi). Head On/Pill contained The Land Before Timeland, Chang’e, Am I In Heaven? and Sad Pilot teases and Grow Wings and Fly quotes. Following Head On/Pill, Stu and Joey mentioned that the first show they played outside of Australia was in Austin 10 years ago (2014-5-2). Wah Wah contained an intro, quote, and jam of The River, as well as Ice V teases. Before Nuclear Fusion, Joey noted that Cavs was a big fan of Ferrari so he was happy about them playing inside an F1 track, then talked about how Cavs won a go kart race before the show and announced that it was Mystery Jack's 100th King Gizzard show. A fan, Ethan, was brought up to do the vocal intro to Nuclear Fusion, and he quoted Straws In The Wind before the line. Straws In The Wind contained Phantom Island quotes. Set contained an Ain't It Funky Now (James Brown) tease. During Shanghai Cavs hit his gong and it cracked. Mars For The Rich contained a false start due to the band starting without Lucas. During Treaty, the band were joined by Stuart Kellaway of Yothu Yindi on bass and all of the members of King Stingray. Her and I (Slow Jam 2) was on the printed setlist after Le Risque but was cut. Joey joined opener King Stingray on a cover of Waru (Fire) by Warumpi Band.
